It's Snowing!!

We don't get snow that often but in the last few years it seems to be happening more and more. In a way its lovely, pretty to look at but in another it brings home the needs of the community. It definitely makes you more aware of those in your neighbourhood as you work together to clear the pavements, to help older neighbours by getting their shopping and the fun had sharing the sledges with the local children on the nearby hill. So on that thought here are some of our photos of the town in the snow...

How Beautiful! My ex-hubby and I went to England for New Year's 2001. On our way it had snowed and the plane ended up circling Gatwick Airport for TWO HOURS before being able to land! LOL That was always the thing with us...if it's not supposed to happen or is a bit out of the ordinary, it happend to us! Snow in London? What? LOL

You live in such a cute area! What town do you live in? My Beau is originally from England. His Mum and Nan now live here in the US with the American side of the family! LOL

@Digital, sorry but I kind of keep it a bit aloof as to where exactly we are, keeps it all slightly mystical ;o)

Its definately a pretty sight, though I think our town is rather lovely any time of the year.

The birds skiddign everywhere did give some mirth as did them landing in foot deep snow before realising what it all was (younguns, first winter)
