Today was again blooming wet. So much so that the May Queen ceremony and May Pole dancing had to be moved indoors. Still a great time had and a lovely set of children entertaining with their routines.
For the afternoon the brave (mad?) drummers came out for their drum-off and the three sides gave a great, toe tapping, body jiggling set of rhythms for us to enjoy.
PS Would highly recommend not redying hair red when later heading out in the rain, doesn't matter how hard I tried, still got it streaking down my face!

Fun! It's too bad you had the rain (like the rest of us) but great that things still went off without a hitch.
Hope the red dye washes out of your clothes - eek!

Oh Jen thats such a shame but glad it didnt stop the festivities :) love the boarder morris men so uplifting sounds bet that was great to see :) and oops about hair lol the things we do eh!!!
Wow, do you have a large Pagan community where you live? All these events look very exciting.

Not a huge amount, a lot are solitaries and a few covens/groups. But a fair few do travel here for this particular weekend of fun.
