Today was dull and miserable. So we thought we’d cheer ourselves up and go and visit all the new lambs at the local sheep centre. It’s a good place for Littleuns to learn all about spring, lambing and farms. Based on a working farm the centre has pens which allow mothers and the lambs to be spoilt whilst resting.
For only 30p you can buy a bag of feed for your Littleun to feed the ewes and if you get there at the right times you can watch the lambs, who have either lost their mum or been sadly rejected, bottle feed.
I liked coming here, gave us a sense of new beginnings but also helps Littleun understand that there is a sequence to life and that we can’t take things for granted.
